Here you are some red blood cells. They have a very  important function: to transport oxygen to the body. You can see on white blood cell also called: leukocyte.  How cute, isn’t it??It’s like a snowball. It protects you from infections, bacterias, virus...

The cell is the basic structural and functional unit of all living organisms. It is the smallest unit of life. And it is often called the building block of life. Organisms can be classified as unicellular (bacteria) or multicellular (plants, animals).

HUMAN contains about 10 trillion cells.

Biologists think we lose 440.000 cells every day.

The heart is a muscle that pumps the blood to all the body. It moves 5 liters in 1  minute.

Arteries,  veins and capillaries form the CIRCULATORY SYSTEM  (with the organ: HEART). They are the tubes which transport blood.

Capillaries are very thin and long. They think there are 40.000 kilometers of capillaries in the human body, it’s just the distance to travel around the world.
